The device will be available with a 6.7-inch Super AMOLED display with a resolution of 1080 x 2412 pixels, and 900 nits maximum brightness, making it perfect for streaming videos and playing games. The display also features a high refresh rate of 120Hz, which provides a smoother and more responsive experience when scrolling and interacting with the device.
The Galaxy A55 will also come with a 5000-6000mAh battery, which is more than enough to last a full day with moderate usage. It also supports fast charging, and it also has 15W wireless charging support. The device also comes with an under-display fingerprint sensor, which is fast and accurate.
In terms of software, the Galaxy A55 will run on Samsung's One UI 5, which is based on Android 14. One UI 6 is a user-friendly interface that makes it easy to navigate and customize the device. It also comes with a variety of Samsung apps and services, such as Samsung Pay, Samsung Health, and Samsung Knox. Under the hood, the Galaxy A55 is powered by an Exynos processor, which is more than capable of handling everyday tasks and even some light gaming.
