The Samsung Galaxy A52 5G is a versatile and feature-packed smartphone that became available on 19th March 2021. As part of the Galaxy A series, it offers the added advantage of 5G connectivity, making it future-proof and capable of delivering faster data speeds.
Running on Android 11, with the option to upgrade to Android 13 and Samsung's One UI 5.1, the Galaxy A52 5G provides a modern and user-friendly interface. The phone features a 6.5-inch Super AMOLED display with a resolution of 1080 x 2400 pixels. With a 120Hz refresh rate, HDR10+ support, and 800 nits of peak brightness (HBM), it offers smooth visuals and enhanced color accuracy.
Under the hood, the phone is powered by the Qualcomm SM7225 Snapdragon 750G 5G chipset, featuring an octa-core CPU with two Kryo 570 cores clocked at 2.2 GHz and six Kryo 570 cores clocked at 1.8 GHz. The device also comes with an Adreno 619 GPU for handling graphics and gaming, along with 5G support for faster and more reliable connectivity.
The Galaxy A52 5G comes with multiple RAM and storage options: 128GB of storage with 6GB of RAM, 128GB of storage with 8GB of RAM, or 256GB of storage with 8GB of RAM. It also supports expandable storage through a microSDXC card slot, which shares the SIM slot.
For photography, the phone features a quad-camera setup on the back, including a 64 MP wide lens with f/1.8 aperture, PDAF, and OIS, a 12 MP ultrawide lens with a 123° field of view, a 5 MP macro lens, and a 5 MP depth sensor. The rear cameras support video recording at 4K@30fps and 1080p@30/60fps with gyro-EIS, along with features like LED flash, panorama, and HDR. On the front, there is a single 32 MP wide lens for capturing selfies and supporting video recording at 4K@30fps and 1080p@30fps.
The Galaxy A52 5G is equipped with a 4500 mAh non-removable Li-Po battery, providing ample capacity to keep the phone powered throughout the day. The device also supports 25W wired fast charging, which is advertised to charge up to 50% in 30 minutes.
