Under the hood, the phone is powered by the Mediatek MT6762 Helio P22 chipset, which includes an octa-core processor consisting of four Cortex-A53 cores clocked at 2.0 GHz and four Cortex-A53 cores clocked at 1.5 GHz. It is paired with the PowerVR GE8320 GPU for graphics processing.
The Cubot Max 3 comes with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage, providing sufficient memory and storage capacity for everyday usage. Additionally, it has a microSDXC card slot that allows for expandable storage using a dedicated microSD card.
For photography, the smartphone features a triple camera setup on the rear, including a 48 MP wide lens with PDAF (Phase Detection Autofocus), a 5 MP macro lens, and a 0.3 MP lens.
